From March 5 to 10, 2026, Fieberbrunn was once again the center of international freeride sports. Around the legendary Wildseeloder, the FWT Junior Contest and a varied side program in the Event Village at the valley station ensured a laid-back atmosphere.

Competition Update: Fieberbrunn Pro Cancelled

FWT Commissioners and the Safety Team evaluated the Wildseeloder face and scoped several alternative faces in Fieberbrunn and across the Tirol region.

While Fieberbrunn still offered the best available conditions, none of the options assessed met the safety, snow quality, and contestability standards required to stage a Freeride World Tour Pro competition. More

FWT Junior Competition confirmed

The 2026 YETI Freeride World Tour Fieberbrunn Junior will take place on Saturday, March 7.

At this Freeride World Tour Junior 3★ event, the next generation of freeriders will showcase their skills on the spectacular terrain of the Wildseeloder. You can also follow the action live at the Contest Village in the Wildalmen Area, where the runs will be broadcast on screen.

Competition

The legendary North Face of the Wildseeloder awaits the athletes, from whose summit the world’s best in their sport will plunge into the depths.

The steep and rocky north face of the mountain is a real test even for the most experienced professionals, and the riders will give their all to secure the title with a great result!

Access to the Contest Village on the mountain (except for required lift tickets, if applicable) and to the Event Village at the valley station is free of charge. No separate event ticket is required.

Directions

Event Village (valley station) → Contest Village (Wildalm):

  • Ascent with the gondola lift F1+F2 Streuböden I+II
  • At the exit at the mountain station, keep right and follow the signs to the Contest Village
  • The path is accessible on skis and by foot

Contest Village (Wildalm) → Event Village (valley station):

  • On skis: ski downhill from the Contest Village to the Reckmoos Nord middle station. From there, take the E1 Reckmoos Nord I gondola in the direction of Fieberbrunn and after getting off, take piste 108 or F8 Maiskopflift to the Event Village (valley station)
  • On foot: take the outward route back to the mountain station on the Lärchfilzkogel and take the F1+F2 Streubödenbahn I+II down into the valley

Note: The Contest Village is located in the open ski area – ski and walk at your own risk!
